Menzies Distribution Solutions Awarded Warehouse Contract at Ball Corporation’s Kettering Facility

Menzies Distribution Solutions is proud to announce a new milestone in its long-standing partnership with Ball Corporation, a global leader in sustainable aluminium packaging. We’ve been awarded the contract to manage the warehouse operations at Ball’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Under this new agreement, Menzies will oversee the inbound flow of raw materials, manage the storage of finished goods, and provide national distribution services to Ball’s UK customer base. This strategic partnership supports Ball’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.

Ball’s Kettering site is the largest beverage packaging plant in the UK, spanning an impressive 56,000 sqm with capacity for future expansion. The facility employs over 200 people and produces billions of fully recyclable aluminium beverage cans annually.

This latest win builds on the momentum from earlier in 2025, when Menzies was selected to operate Ball’s new 140,000 sq ft warehouse at Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT), developed to meet growing demand.
