One such partnership is with Veterans into Logistics, a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping ex-military personnel and other vulnerable individuals retrain and transition into meaningful careers within the logistics sector.
We were honoured to welcome Darren Wright, Founder, and James Howard, Digital Marketing Manager of Veterans into Logistics, to our Wakefield site. During their visit, they presented us with a Bronze Patron plaque, a symbol of our commitment to supporting their incredible mission.
This recognition marks a significant milestone in our partnership, which will directly fund HGV driver training for a veteran, helping them take the next step toward a rewarding career in logistics. It was a fantastic session filled with shared values, inspiring conversations, and exciting plans for the future.
Veterans into Logistics works tirelessly to change lives by offering training and employment support to those who need it most - including ex-forces personnel, individuals with convictions, and other vulnerable people who require assistance in gaining HGV licences and securing paid employment in the logistics industry.
