Menzies Distribution Solutions win the 'Safety in Operation Award' at the Motor Transport Awards 2026

Menzies Distribution Solutions is proud to have been named winner of the Safety in Operation Award at the 40th Motor Transport Awards, recognising the significant progress made in building a stronger, more proactive safety culture across the business.

The award was accepted by Lisa Marklew, Head of Health & Safety, on behalf of the entire Menzies Distribution Solutions team and reflects the collective efforts of colleagues across the business who continue to put safety at the heart of everything they do.

The recognition follows what has been our safest year yet, achieved through a sustained focus on continuous improvement, colleague engagement, investment and innovation. Over the past year, we have delivered a wide-ranging programme of initiatives designed to strengthen safety performance and embed a stronger culture across every part of the organisation.

Commenting on the award, the judges recognised Menzies Distribution Solutions for its “exceptional leadership and commitment to long-term operational excellence.”

This achievement belongs to every colleague across the business. From our depots and transport operations to our support teams, our people have played a vital role in driving improvements, challenging standards and helping to create a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility.
